Experienced Mill Helper- DIRECT HIRE
A leading precision-engineered custom roll form metal solutions company is seeking an Experienced Mill Helper to join their team. If you have experience in a mill or production environment and precision, quality, and efficiency with an unyielding commitment to service and performance. are your strengths, this could be the perfect fit. Assist machine operator in set up, tear down, and operation of production equipment.
Shift:
Currently running 2- 12 hour shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a
Pay:
$23.25/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Assist operator in loading coils onto pay-off reel
Operate jib cranes
Set up and tear down the exit end racking
Assist the operator in stacking finished goods into proper packaging
Cleaning and painting equipment
Keep the work area clean
Banding/Wrapping of finished goods in accordance with packaging specs
Other duties as assigned by Supervision
Minimum Requirements:
Manufacturing and Mill environment
Safety awareness, Teamwork, responsibility, Initiative
Basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide), read measurement tools (tape measure, caliper, micrometer), follow basic instructions both written and verbal, read and comprehend Manufacturing Orders, quality check sheets, and part drawings
High school education or equivalent
Physical Requirements
Ability to push, pull, and lift 75lbs repeatedly. Ability to stand for duration of scheduled shift
