Our client in Boardman, OH is seeking a dependable Assembly Specialist to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will inspect plastic parts produced by injection molding machines to ensure they meet quality and production standards. The position involves trimming, sorting, and packaging molded parts while following work instructions and maintaining accurate documentation.

Location: Boardman, OH
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Job Type: Contract To Hire
Shift Availability: Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect molded plastic parts to verify they meet quality specifications
• Trim, clip, and remove excess plastic from finished products
• Sort and package parts according to work instructions
• Identify acceptable and defective parts based on quality standards
• Complete required production and inspection paperwork during the assigned shift
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Participate in shift meetings and communicate any production or quality concerns
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Good hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish colors
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment

Nice to Have Skills

• Previous manufacturing or production experience
• Experience with quality inspections

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
