Aluminum Extrusion Operator
Our client in Boardman is seeking reliable and motivated Aluminum Extrusion Operators to join their production team. This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment, ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude and a focus on quality and safety.

Any
*May work 6 days a week, rotating off day
Pay: $17.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare extrusion machinery by loading raw materials and adjusting machine settings per product specifications
Operate extrusion machines to manufacture plastic or metal products according to established guidelines
Monitor and adjust the extrusion process in real-time to maintain product quality and efficiency
Conduct routine quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or operational issues to minimize downtime
Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement, to keep machinery operating efficiently
Coordinate with the production team to ensure a consistent flow of raw materials
Maintain accurate records of production counts, machine settings, maintenance, and quality checks
Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment
Assist in training new operators on proper extrusion procedures and machine maintenance
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in machine operation, extrusion, or a manufacturing setting preferred
Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Additional technical training or certifications in machine operation is a plus
