1st Shift Shipping Associate

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate with basic computer skills for a position in Columbiana, Ohio. 

This role offers the chance to contribute to a busy shipping operation within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will work on-site, assisting with shipping logistics, preparing shipments, and supporting the overall efficiency of the shipping department.

Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

Pay:
$16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in the shipping office and on the shop floor
• Monitor truck loading and unloading
• Pull tickets and prepare packing lists
• Schedule shipments and coordinate with carriers
• Weigh shipments and update information on scales
• Input data into the computer system
• Email packing lists and shipment details to customers

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in a shipping department preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Punctuality and excellent attendance

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with shipping software or inventory management (if available)
• Ability to operate scales and other shipping equipment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Prior shipping or warehouse experience a plus

• On-site work environment
• Valid certifications or licenses are not required
