1st Shift Production Workers – Boardman, OH

We are currently seeking a 1st shift Production Worker for a confidential manufacturing company located in the Youngstown, Ohio area. 

Schedule:
1st Shift 7:00am – 3:30pm

Pay:

Starting at $17.00 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure parts are built to the blueprint specifications.

• Complete sub-assembly of customized kits using various tools and machinery

• Using table saws, drill presses, hand tools, etc, to assist in making parts for customer

• Using tape measures and calipers to conduct quality checks.

• Assemble parts together using glue and other adhesives

• Assist with packaging goods to be shipped

• Use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers, to verify part accuracy and quality

• Adhere to the health and safety guidelines.

• Minimize raw material waste through effective offcut management

• Work fluidly with other departments to ensure products are shipped out on time.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings 

• Experience in a woodworking environment.

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• The ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, which may include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, walking, repetitive motion, and other job specific requirements.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measurer is a great plus
