Our client in Boardman, OH is seeking a dependable Molding Technician to join their manufacturing team. This role is perfect for candidates with manufacturing or production experience who are looking for steady work and a chance to grow within a team-focused environment.

As a Molding Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes. You'll support the production team on-site, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Hours
Second Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Pay
$18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up injection molding machines, molds, dryers, and hoppers
• Adjust machine parameters and robot programs to meet quality and production standards
• Perform mold changes and tool setups
• Inspect parts during start-up, after mold changes, and throughout production to ensure quality
• Identify and address defects using inspection standards
• Troubleshoot molding processes to meet or exceed quality standards
• Initiate process improvements and collaborate with engineering and management teams
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Monitor press logs and equipment performance

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Experience in injection molding or manufacturing preferred
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with different resins, dryers, and molding equipment
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and mold setting
• Progressive experience in molding technician roles (Process Tech I, II, III, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, process sheets, and quality standards

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED

• On-site work required
• Ability to work third-party shifts (2nd shift)
