We are currently seeking energetic and reliable 1st Shift Production Workers for a manufacturing company located in Boardman, Ohio. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization that values hard work and dedication.

You will be working on-site at a confidential manufacturing facility in the Youngstown area, helping to produce quality parts and assemblies according to blueprint specifications. This role involves operating tools and machinery, completing sub-assemblies, and ensuring that products meet quality standards—all while adhering to safety protocols.

Hours:
1st Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday

Pay:
$17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure parts are built to blueprint specifications
• Complete sub-assembly of customized kits using various tools and machinery
• Assist with making parts for customers using table saws, drill presses, hand tools, etc.
• Use tape measures and calipers to conduct quality checks
• Assemble parts using glue and other adhesives
• Assist with packaging goods to be shipped
• Use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers, to verify part accuracy and quality
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
• Minimize raw material waste through effective offcut management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely shipment of products
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, standing, walking, and repetitive motions

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a woodworking environment
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred

Other Requirements:

• Must work on-site at the facility in Boardman, OH
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job
