We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder with experience working with stainless steel in a manufacturing environment in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. This is a great opportunity for professionals with a background in welding stainless steel components for food-grade oil management systems, including tanks, caddies, and custom assemblies.

Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Pay
$21.00+/hour, based on experience and skill level

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan welding tasks
  • Select and operate MIG welding equipment based on job requirements
  • Cut and prepare materials using saws and grinders
  • Align and secure parts using measuring tools and clamps
  • Perform MIG welding in various positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead)
  • Inspect welds and perform necessary repairs
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Experience welding stainless steel components
  • Skilled with MIG welding equipment and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Proficient with hand and power tools (calipers, grinders, saws, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of metal properties and welding safety standards
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have Skills

  • AWS MIG welding certification or completion of a technical program/apprenticeship

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 3–5 years of MIG welding experience in manufacturing
