Service Repair Technician
This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, with a strong emphasis on diesel engines, emissions systems, and advanced equipment diagnostics. If you’re skilled with diesel technology and enjoy working on the road and customer-facing interactions with AC/DC experience
Shift:
Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
Pay:
$15-$25 an hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Talking to others to convey information effectively.
Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
Must be comfortable being in customer’s homes, driving company vehicles and upselling maintenance contracts and suggested repairs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to attend overnight manufacturer training classes when required.
Must be capable of attending and successfully passing with good scores all Generac Certified Warranty repairs classes as well as any other certifications classes that are required to perform the necessary work on equipment.
Excellent customer service and telephone skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently with little or no supervision.
Proactive and progressive in identifying and solving problems
